One-to-one coaching for software engineers

A little perspective.
A clearer way
forward.

Your career is more than your next interview. Talk through the decisions, the difficult days, and the kind of engineer you want to become.

A real conversation. An experienced perspective. Space for you.

ROOM TO THINK

“I know something needs
to change. I’m just not
sure where to start.”

That’s a perfectly good place to begin.

Grounded in experience.
Centered on your situation.

Different challenges.

Start with the situation you’re in.

The approach

Thoughtful questions.
Honest perspective.
Your way forward.

Engineering asks a lot of you. This is a space to step back from the day-to-day with someone who understands the work—and the people doing it.

Would it help most to be heard, explore options, or work on a plan? We start there.

  1. 01

    Bring what’s real.

A career decision. A conversation you’re avoiding. A release process that keeps breaking down. Start wherever you are.

  2. 02

    Make sense of it together.

We listen, ask questions, and look at the situation from another angle. Advice comes with context, not a script.

  3. 03

    Leave with what you need.

That might be a practical next step, a clearer decision, or simply a better understanding of what’s going on.

Before we talk

A few things
you might wonder.

What is software engineering coaching?

It is a one-to-one conversation with an experienced engineering leader about your career and working life. Sessions can cover career direction, workplace relationships, technical leadership, software delivery, or interview preparation.

Do I need to know exactly what I want help with?

No. Bring what is on your mind, even if it feels hard to explain. We can start by listening and working out what would be useful to explore together.

How much does a coaching session cost?

Three bookable options: Focused support at $75 USD, an Individual coaching session at $125 USD (up to 90 minutes), and Deeper preparation at $150 USD. Choose the option that fits before checkout.

Is this only interview preparation?

No. Interviews are one part of the service. Career decisions, difficult workplace conversations, leadership, and improving the software development lifecycle are equally welcome.

What happens during and after a session?

We begin with your situation and agree whether listening, exploring options, or making a plan would help most. You can ask for a short written summary of agreed next steps. There is no requirement to leave with homework.

Are sessions recorded?

Sessions are not recorded by default. Bring anonymized examples and share only what you are comfortable and authorized to discuss.
